Help Us Increase Recycling in Franklin!
The goal of the Franklin Recycling Committee is to increase recycling and reduce waste generation at residential properties, municipal facilities, school buildings and public events through participation in outreach efforts.
Committee members work towards identifying and carrying out projects to achieve the goals of the committee. Participation is open to all members of the public.
Outreach efforts include, but are not limited to, the following:
 School presentations Waste audits
By-law and ordinance review
Advertising and promotion
Contests
Goal setting
Interested in participating? The committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month. All meetings are held from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Franklin Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street, in Room 106 (first floor). If you'd like more information, email Gene Grella, Recycle Committee Chairman.
