Hello Sewer Customer,
Over the last couple of days, the Franklin Department of Public Works has been responding to backed-up sewer lines and pump station failures in your area. These backups are costly and time consuming to repair.
It appears that the backups are caused by a large amount of paper products that were disposed improperly. It also appears that who ever is disposing of material illegally recently had a back up on their property
Please be advised, that only sanitary materials in nature can be legal flushed down the sewer system (Town of Franklin Code, Chapter 139) If you are found in violation of this, you may be responsible for all costs associated with the clearing of the lines and re-building the pump system and all fines allowed by the Town of Franklin Code.
