Hello, this is Robert Cantoreggi, Director of Public Works, calling with an important announcement regarding a water advisory in your area.
On Thursday December 4th and Friday December 5th between the hours of 8AM and 5PM your water may be turned off. The DPW has been making improvements to the water distribution system in your area and shut down is required to switch over to the new water lines. .
During this period, you may or may not experience no water pressure. When the water comes back on there may be discoloration. Do not be alarmed if your water appears “rusty.” There is no need for concern. If this happens, run the water in your sinks, showers, or baths until the water runs clear before using it.
