Picture day will be announced at a later date. Pictures will be taken at your normally scheduled practice time.
The Pee Wee Baseball League is a town-sponsored league designed for boys and girls ages 4-6 years old. The Franklin Recreation Department has provided this program and other youth sport programs for the past several years, and continue to be successful. The mission of the Franklin Recreation Department is to provide sport opportunities to area youth. The department has adopted the philosophy of the American Sport Education Program by striving to place the athlete first and winning second in all its youth sport programs. Listed below is important information about our youth baseball program. We hope that this information answers most of your questions about our program. Baseball/Softball parade will be held on April 21, between 9:00-10:00 am meet at the Davis Thayer Playground.
Franklin offers many different opportunities for baseball players of all age groups. Franklin Recreation Department runs the Pee Wee Baseball program for kids aged 4-6 years old. Franklin Youth Baseball runs the leagues for players from 7 years old up to 15 years olds. Franklin Recreation also organizes the Franklin Legion program as well. Legion Baseball is for players under 19 years old. We now have a 19U and 17U Legion program.
